Tensile and fatigue properties were evaluated for two beta-processed Ti-alloys, beta-Cez and Ti-6246. both with a pancake shaped grain structure. Tests were performed in L- and ST-direction and under various inclined angles. The orientation dependence observed for tensile ductility and HCF strength will be associated with an influence of the soft alpha layer regions along the beta grain boundaries.
