Cross-coupling reactions for preparation of π-conjugated polymers

Various pi-conjugated aromatic polymers have been repared by utilizing organometallic C-C coupling reactions. The pi- conjugated polymers include poly(thiophene), poly(3-alkylthiophene), poly(pyridine), and poly(2,2'-bipyridyl).
