Synthesis and spectral properties of 7-chloro-5-[(o- and p-R1)phenyl]-1-R2-3H-[1,4]benzodiazepin-2-ones

A series of twelve new 7-chloro-5-[(o- and p-R-1)phenyl]-1-R-2-3H-[1,4] benzo-diazepin-2-ones, which have possible pharmacological properties were synthesized. The synthesis of all the final compounds was carried out by four steps. The structure of all final products was corroborated by ir, H-1 nmr, C-13 nmr and ins, and have been obtained in 35-94% yield.
