Roles of phospholipase D in apoptosis and pro-survival

Accumulating evidence has recognized phospholipase D (PLD) as an important element in signal transduction of cell responses, including proliferation and differentiation, However, its role in pro-apoptotic, anti-apoptotic or pro-survival signaling is not well-understood.
