State-to-state cross-sections have been calculated for various channels of the N-2(+)(X, v' = 1, 2) + Ar and Ar+(P-2(j.mj)) + N-2)(X, v = 0) reactions, in the collision energy range from 0.010 to 5eV, by using the Landau-Zener-Stuckelberg formalism and new potential energy surfaces recently evaluated [J. Chem. Phys. 115 (2001) 8888]. Calculations are in good agreement with available experimental results and confirm the strong state-selective chemistry occurring in the ArN2+ system.
