Bioactivity of gentiopicroside from the aerial parts of Centaurium erythraea

Gentiopicroside (1), a secoiridoid glycoside isolated from the methanol extract of the aerial parts of Centaurium erythraea, has been assessed for antibacterial and free radical scavenging activities.
