Energy of the 14O superallowed positron decay -: art. no. 035503

The threshold energy of the N-14(p,n)O-14 reaction has been measured to be 6354.35(18) keV relative to a 1-V standard, and an earlier value has been withdrawn. This leads to a Q(ec) value for the superallowed positron decay of O-14 of 2831.53(17) keV and a recommended mean value of Q(ec) = 2831.47(14) keV.
