Synthesis of (E)- and (Z)-alkenylphosphonates using vinylboronates

[GRAPHICS] (E)- and (Z)-alkenylphosphonates have been prepared stereospecifically via the reaction of vinylboronate esters with triethyl phosphite in the presence of palladium acetate.
