Sample preparation protocols for MALDI-MS of peptides and oligonucleotides using prestructured sample supports

This contribution provides a set of protocols for MALDI-MS sample preparation of peptides and oligonucleotides on prestructured sample supports. The protocols have been optimized for high detection sensitivity, robust performance, ease of use, and include sample purification and concentration. Some protocols were optimized for manual preparation of individual samples. Others were developed for the use of automated pipetting stations and optimized for high throughput protein identification and DNA sequence analysis. (C) 2002 Elsevier Science B.V.
