Fabrication of TiC particulate reinforced magnesium matrix composites

A TiC particulate reinforced magnesium matrix composite (PRMMC) was fabricated by adding a TiC-Al master alloy processed via self-propagating high-temperature synthesis reaction into molten magnesium and using the semisolid slurry stirring technique.
