Biotransformation of low-molecular-weight alcohols by Coleus forskohlii hairy root cultures

Coleus forskohlii hairy root cultures were shown to biotransform methanol and ethanol to the corresponding beta-D-glucopyranosides and beta-D-ribo-hex-3-ulopyranosides, and 2-propanol to its beta-D-glucopyranoside. (C) 2003 Elsevier Science Ltd. All rights reserved.
