Enthalpies of solution of organic solutes in the ionic liquid 1-methyl-3-ethyl-imidazolium bis-(trifluoromethyl-sulfonyl) amide

Enthalpies of solution of six organic solutes in the ionic liquid 1-methyl-3-ethyl-imidazolium bis-(trifluoromethyl-sulfonyl) amide have been measured at 25degreesC at low concentrations using titration calorimetry. Results at infinite dilution are compared with data obtained indirectly from activity coefficients at infinite dilution. Thermodynamic consistency has been confirmed within the experimental error of both methods.
