Copper(II) triflate-mediated addition reaction of α-oxygenated alkylstannanes to imines for the synthesis of vicinal-amino alcohol derivatives

In the presence of copper(II) triflate, a novel addition reaction of alpha-oxygenated alkylstannanes to various kinds of imines proceeded smoothly to give the corresponding vicinal-amino alcohol derivatives in good yield.
