Reproducible efficacy of loading oral propafenone in restoring sinus rhythm in patients with paroxysmal atrial fibrillation

This is the first study to demonstrate the reproducibility of an oral propafenone loading dose in converting paroxysmal atrial fibrillation in patients without significant cardiac disease or hypertension. This finding may support the development of the pill-in-the-pocket treatment strategy in this group of patients. (C) 2003 by Excerpta Medica, Inc.
