Antimicrobial activity of aqueous extracts and of berberine isolated from Berberis heterophylla

The antimicrobial activity of Berberis heterophylla leaves, stems and root aqueous extracts was studied in vitro on Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria and fungi.
