Two faces of the structural aspects of aromaticity

Aromaticity is the concept which depends on the structure requirements of molecules but also can be defined quantitatively by means of aromaticity indices by means of molecular geometry. Critical analysis of both aspects is presented, showing advantages and limitations of geometry-based indices.
