An infrequent complication of RSV acute bronchiolitis in an infant

We report the case of a 10-month-old girl hospitalized with RSV acute bronchiolitis who developed necrotizing pneumonia with pyopneumothorax due to Panton-Valentine leukocidin-secreting Staphylococcus aureus.
