CdSSe quantum dots: effect of the hydrogen RF plasma treatment on exciton luminescence

This work deals with effective passivation of CdSchiSe1-chi quantum dot surface after treating it by low-temperature hydrogen RF plasma. An enhancement of the exciton luminescence was observed, which can be interpreted as consequence of a decreasing number of surface non-radiative traps. (C) 2003 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
