Producing composite material by liquid-solid roll-bonding

Steel sheet clad by aluminium, copper or brass, can be used in decoration, kitchen, military and other applications. For example, stainless steel sheet clad by aluminium can be used for cooking utensils such as pots and pans and for the shell of the refrigerator; steel sheet clad with brass can be used instead of copper for bullet cases. In this paper, a new technology namely liquid-solid bonding rolling is proposed for the generation of these laminate composites, especially for steellaluminium-tin-lead alloy strip.
