Phase state and transport of macroparticles forming fluid-like structures in a complex plasma is numerically studied for radial pair potentials of various types. Special attention is paid to non-Yukawa-type screening potentials. The parameters responsible for the phase state and microscopic dynamics of macroparticle motions are determined and investigated. Consequences for the particle condensation are discussed. (C) 2004 American Institute of Physics.
