Solar signal in the number of floods recorded for the Tagus river basin over the last millennium

Recently, Benito et al. ( 2003) have created and analyzed a database using documentary flood data collected for the Tagus river basin ( Central Spain). In this short contribution, the presence of the long-period cycles of solar activity in this data is analyzed.
