Conversion electron Mossbauer spectroscopy with a linearly polarized source

A Mossbauer polarimeter setup is presented here in combination with conversion electron Mossbauer spectroscopy and it is applied for the study of the 'bulk-spin-flop' transition, the switching of the Fe-layer magnetizations in an MgO/[Fe-57(2.6nm)/Cr(1.3nM)](20) antiferromagnetically-coupled, epitaxial superlattice.
