Copper oxide catalysts supported on ceria for low-temperature CO oxidation

Copper oxide catalysts supported on ceria were prepared by wet impregnation method using finely CeO2 nanocrystals, which was derived from alcohothermal synthesis, and copper nitrate dissolved in the distilled water. The catalytic activity of the prepared CeO2 and CuO/CeO2 catalysts for low-temperature CO oxidation was investigated by means of a microreactor-GC system.
