Efficient method to functionalize carbon nanotubes with thiol groups and fabricate gold nanocomposites

Functionalized carbon nanotubes with thiol groups (-SH) were synthesized in an efficient way and gold nanoparticles have been successfully self-assembled on them to fabricate nanocomposites by two methods.
