Formation of the H- ion in the positronium-hydrogen-atom collision -: art. no. 044701

The cross sections (both differential and total) for H- formation in the process Ps(1s)+H(1s)-> e(+)+H- in the energy range 10-500 eV have been studied. The calculations have been performed in the framework of the Coulomb-modified eikonal approximation and take account of the long-range Coulomb attraction between the outgoing e(+) and H- ion in the final channel.
