Causes of technogenic earthquake during open mining in the khibiny apatite deposits

Based on an analysis of the results obtained from calculation of stress state in a rock mass in the vicinity of an open-pit mining under the action of gravitational and tectonic forces, the causes are substantiated for the technogenic earthquake in the Tsentralny mine of the Apatit Joint-Stock Company.
