Simulating magnetic monopoles by extending GEANT

GEANT is a widely used tool for detector description and simulation, but does not handle particles with magnetic charge. In this article we describe an extension to track a simple monopole having magnetic charge, but no electric charge or hadronic interactions. (c) 2005 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
