We measured the thermal diffusivity of amorphous solid and supercooled liquid in a Zr(55)A(10)Ni(5)Cu(30) (at.%) bulk metallic glass using a laser flash method. The thermal diffusivity and conductivity of the amorphous solid were weakly temperature-dependent, with small positive temperature coefficients. The thermal diffusivity of supercooled liquid remains constant with temperature. © 2005 Acta Materialia Inc. Published by Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.
