A phenomenological model was used to describe field-cooled magnetization versus temperature in a field of 1.6 under ambient pressure and an applied pressure of 11 kbar for . From this phenomenological model, we can calculate the variation of the entropy as a function of the temperature under ambient pressure and an applied pressure of 11 kbar for . Calculations showed that the external pressure application improves the magnetocaloric properties of . It is suggested that the magnetocaloric effect of can be controlled by fine tuning the external pressure.
