Size controlled Au-Pd bimetallic nanoparticles with an average size of 7-10 nm were grown in porous germania nanospheres. The properties of the resulting nanocomposites were characterized by electron microscopy, energy dispersive spectroscopy, and ultraviolet-visible spectroscopy.
