A polar luminescent Zn polymer containing an unusual noninterpenetrated utp net

A new Zn coordination polymer with the mixed ligands of 1,3,5-benzenetricarboxylate and 1,3-bis(4-pyridyl)propane has been hydrothermally synthesized, and an unusual distorted noninter-penetrated utp [or (10,3)-d] net has been defined.
