Current-phase relation of a superconducting quantum point contact

We have investigated the current-phase relation of a superconducting quantum point contact (QPC) by measuring the magnetic field dependence of the critical current of a dc-SQUID consisting of the QPC and a tunnel junction. The result indicates the non-sinusoidal current-phase relation. Analysis based on the theory of superconducting QPC is given. (c) 2005 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
