We report on random lasing action in zinc oxide microparticles dispersed in organic disordered hybrid polymer. Lasing action from zinc-oxide-polymer hybrid is reported at temperature ranging from 6 to 250 K. Coherent backscattering measurements reveal that the transport of light in the sample is diffusive and feedback for lasing is incoherent. The zinc oxide particles provide both the gain and the scattering whereas polymer matrix offers ease of material fabrication.
