Search for the hc meson in B±→hcK±

We report a search for the h(c) meson via the decay chain B-+/--> h(c)K(+/-), h(c)->eta(c)gamma with eta(c)->(KSK +/-)-K-0 pi(-/+) and p (p) over bar. No significant signals are observed. We obtain upper limits on the branching fractions for B-+/-->eta(c)gamma K-+/- in bins of the eta(c)gamma invariant mass. The results are based on an analysis of 253 fb(-1) of data collected by the Belle detector at the KEKB e(+)e(-) collider.
