Two photosensitizer, hematoporphyrin (HP) and 5-aminolevulinic acid (ALA) were adsorbed on the magnetic nanoparticles. In the biological test of the magnetic fluids, the hematological and blood chemical levels of rats were summarized. Also, the possibilities for hyperthermia application of the magnetic fluid were verified by measuring their heat capacity and temperature in AC field. (C) 2006 Elsevier B. V. All rights reserved.
