New exact solutions to the Fitzhugh-Nagumo equation

By the first integral method, a series of new exact solutions of the Fitzhugh-Nagumo equation have been obtained. It is shown that this method is one of the most effective approaches to obtain the exact solutions of the nonlinear evolution equations, especially for nonintegrable models. (c) 2006 Elsevier Inc.
