Inequality and globalization in Europe

The purpose of this study is to examine the impact of globalization on the income inequality in Europe. The panel estimation results covering 14 European countries over the period 1951-1992, show that foreign direct investment has raised income inequality and that the Kuznets hypothesis is valid.
