A decision-making framework model for evaluating flexible manufacturing systems using digraph and matrix methods

In the present work, a methodology based on digraph and matrix methods is developed for evaluation of alternative flexible manufacturing systems. A flexible manufacturing system selection index' is proposed that evaluates and ranks flexible manufacturing systems for a given industrial application. The methodology is illustrated by an example.
