Alk-2-ynyl trimethylsilyl chalcogenoethers by nucleophilic substitution of propargyl bromides

Lithium (trimethlsilyl)chalcogenolates have been generated and used to prepare a series of alk-2-ynyl trimethylsiyl chalcogenoethers from the corresponding propargyl bromides in good yeild. The thermal decomposition of the telluroethers has also been studied. ((c) Wiiley-VCH Verlag GMBH & Co. KGaA).
