An infrared line list for CI

Precision C I line wavenumbers, measured from laboratory spectra, are presented for the spectral region 1831- 11,944 cm(-1) (0.83-5.4 mu m) with a small extension into the optical. Adjusted C I energy levels based on these measurements are given.
