The interaction of amoxicillin anions (Axn(-)) with Mn2+, Co2+, Ni2+, Zn2+, and Cd2+ in aqueous solution at 20 degrees C and an ionic strength of 0.1 (KNO3) has been studied pH-metrically. In a neutral and weak alkaline solution, MAxn(+) and M(OH)Axn complexes are formed. The formation constants and the pH ranges of existence of these complexes have been determined.
