1-(3,5-dimethylphenyl)-3-phenylthiourea

The title compound, C15H16N2S, was prepared by the reaction of 3,5-dimethylphenylamine with 1-isothiocyanatobenzene. In the molecule, all bond lengths and angles are within normal ranges. The dihedral angle between the two aromatic rings is 48.77(1)degrees. The crystal packing is stabilized by van der Waals forces.
