The new cycloartane glycoside cyclochivinoside C, 24S-cycloartan-3 beta,6 alpha,16 beta,24,25-pentaol 3,16-di-O-beta-D-glucopyranoside, was isolated from the aerial part of Astragalus chivensis. The structures of the isolated compounds were established by chemical transformations and PMR and C-13 NMR spectra.
