Gastric preneoplastic lesions and epithelial dysplasia

The incidence of gastric cancer is declining; however, it remains the second most common cause of cancer-related deaths worldwide. This article describes gastric preneoplastic lesions and epithelial dysplasia. The possible role of Helicobader pylori infection is emphasized.
