In this article, we report the effect of strain on the nonlinear electromagnetic response of carbon based material specifically for graphene in presence of high intense oscillating optical field. We demonstrate the phenomenon of anomalous Rabi oscillations (ARO's) which has been recently predicted in case of undoped single layer graphene by the new developed technique asymptotic rotating wave approximation (ARWA). The obtained anomalous Rabi frequency (ARF) in terms of strain parameter has very different type of behavior with respect to the ARF obtained in case of un-strained graphene.
