An extended, fused-ring aromatic poly-(diketopyrrolopyrrole-emeraldicene) copolymer (PDTDPP-alt-EMD) is presented. Conjugated polymers exhibit balanced hole and electron mobilities when used as a single-component active semiconductor in organic thin-film transistors (OTFTs).
