A New, Safe, High-Rate and High-Energy Polymer Lithium-Ion Battery

A polymer lithium-ion battery based on an original combination of new electrodes and electrolyte materials are reported. This advanced battery has unique performances in terms of energy density, power capability, cycle life and safety (see figure).
