The nanosynthesis of autointercalated 2H-Nb1+ySe2, 0 <= y <= 0.29 (y = 0.02(1), 0.04(1), 0.09(1), 0.12(1), 0.22(1)) was carry out by 'up-bottom' with use of activated intercalation processes (Li+/H2O) for micron powders (2H-TaS2 structural type). As shown, the homogeneous graphene-like 2H-Nb1.02(1)Se2 nanoparticles with appreciable anisotropy of sizes are prepared and do not include other types of particles.
