The Implementation of China's Building Energy Efficiency Evaluation and Labeling and the Enlightenment

A brief overview of China's building energy efficiency evaluation and labeling system's application, evaluation labeling process and principle is presented, also an introduction of the pilot projects carried out since 2008. A systematic data summary of energy consumption and energy-saving rate of 82 projects obtained theoretical building energy efficiency labeling during pilot implementation period, and a comprehensive comparative analysis of labeled projects in different climatic zones, of different building types and labeling level are presented.
