Electrocaloric effect in PLZT (8/65/35) ceramics has been studied. The maximum temperature change of 0.26K was observed with application of 1kV/mm electric field. This change is significantly higher that PZT films at room temperature. A shift of 40 degrees C was observed in the electro-caloric maximum temperature was observed with increases the electric field from 10kV/cm to 30kV/cm.
